In Memory Of
Shiloh
About My Dog
Shiloh was a Jack Russel / Beagle mix. She was born September 10, 2009. We adopted her in November 2009. On September 13, 2010, she dug underneath a fence and ran out into the street. She was so excited to be out that she didn't come to my ex's calls. She ran from the side street to the highway. He heard a honk and yelp. He took her to the vet and the vet said that her spine was broken and so were both of her legs. He decided it was best to put her to sleep and have her cremated.
What I'd Like to Say To (or About) My Dog
Shiloh, I miss you very much. I am so sorry I couldn't say goodbye. You were in pain and you are now in a better place. I remember us snuggling on the couch, watching you dig tunnels in the yard, and wiggling your butt when you were excited. I hurt so much right now. I've cried every night for a week. I will never forget you Shiloh.
Lessons Learned
- Shiloh taught me to always be happy in the present.
- She loved me unconditionally.
- She was still a puppy, barely 1 year old.
- She was always happy and taught me that life is short.
