In Memory Of
Sheba
About My Dog
We had Sheba and her sister from an animal rescue centre in 2001.
She was a collie cross Labrador.
She developed depression, lethargy and was very ill for two weeks, blood tests showed it was a blood disorder similar to leukemia, we found out on the Friday and she had to be put to sleep on the Monday 10th May 2010.
We miss her terribly, she has left a huge gap in our lives as she was such a character and her sister is lost without her.
We scattered her ashes last Tuesday in Somerset, where our other dog, Holly's ashes are.
What I'd Like to Say To (or About) My Dog
Sheba was always very determined to get her own way and if she didn't want to go for a walk when it was raining, she would sit down and NOT come. I would just leave her behind, usually with my husband, as she also wouldn't come if he didn't.
Your Dad is absolutely heartbroken and misses you sleeping on the floor by the bed at night.
I would just like to say how I love you and miss you, thank you so much for brightening our lives with your love and devotion.
God bless and sleep tight xxx
Lessons Learned
- They will love you, whatever, forever.
- Don't have a dog if you can't give it 100%
