In Memory Of
"DIAMOND"
About My Dog
Diamond was an Italian Greyhound, she was 4 1/2 years old at the time of her sudden death. She died on May 5th 2009. She died from a tumor in her ovaries that ruptured and we couldn't do anything to save her. She was in a lot of pain so we had to put her down. She is missed very very much.
She love to dress up, My favorite time was football season, she always cheered on the Dallas Cowboys. She would dress as a Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader and loved the attention.
What I'd Like to Say To (or About) My Dog
I would tell Diamond that we all miss her so much. She is thought of everyday. Diamond was the type of dog that would make you feel better. If someone was having a bad day, that would change the minute you walked through the front door, Diamond would give you a welcome home bark and lots of doggie kisses. If someone was sick, she knew because she would lay next to them and cuddle up to them to let them know she was there for them. We have planted a Yellow Rose bush in our back yard in her memory.
Lessons Learned
- Diamond has forever taught me and my family that a pet is more than just a pet, they are a part of your family and love you un-conditionally no matter what.
- It's been over a year that she has left us, and not a day goes by that she is not thought of. She is missed very much.
- So show your pet the love and attention they deserve, they protect and love us, we should give them that in return.
