When, Where and How I Got My Yorkshire Terrier
i got izzee when she was about 8 weeks of age. we always wanted a yorkshire terrier so we looked one up online and we found these 7 week old puppies and we wwanted to ake a look. when we got to the house we noticed that the dad was lhasa apso and the mom was yorkshire terrier. we got to pick which one we wanted and she just crawled on my lap and slept. thats when we decided she was mine. we brought her home and she was loving as can be. she adapted to the new house very quickly and was very easy to housebreak.
I'd Describe My Dog As…
stubborn mostly, very smart, and cuddly/lovable. she also likes to get out and roam but that all change when she was hit by a car and broke her pelvis or hip. she now stays in our yard with no fence. she is very friendly with our niehbors, their dog, and their new born baby. she is very protective of babies nly. she meets them and you cant pull her away until the baby is safe asleep.
Advice
- always keep this long haired dog clean. brush her once a week and she will be very smooth.
- take them out for a walk atleast once during the day to keep them energized.
- Lastly, they love to play, spend time with your dog and then they will respect you, pay attention, and mostly love you.
- These dogs are very lovable and would make a very good family pet.
