When, Where and How I Got My Papillon
Got Gumbo about a year ago from my niece because she had too many dogs and he was the last she had gotten and the friskiest of the lot! I just LOVE him and of course he loves me, but does try to get away with stuff! I have outside cats and he thinks he is in charge! They play well together and he is very gentle with the kittens, carries them just as the mother would!!
I'd Describe My Dog As…
Not easy to housebreak, but he now has very few accidents. He is kennel trained, so that helps whe I am at work, but he is always so glad to see me! He never meets a stranger! Take him to school, I teach (or try to), and he just loves the kids!! He will go to each one and greet them!! Can't help but love him!! No medical problems, except maybe ADHD!!
Advice
- Really don't know if they are good around small children, I teach high school and he gets along great with them! He knows a couple of little kids and loves them!
