Little Bit Picked Me To Take Her Home

I'm not supposed to be on the pillow?

Dog's Name & Age

Little Bit, age 8 months

In a Word, My Mutt Is…

Adorable! She's smart, high-energy, loving and a great snuggler.

Best Characteristics of the Breed

She is Terrier mixed with who knows what. Terriers are energetic.

Most Challenging Characteristics of the Breed

Digging in the flower bed.

When, Where and How I Got My Mixed-Breed Dog

Little Bit adopted me. She was a throw-away dog living on my school bus route. After getting on my bus four mornings in a row, I decided that she wanted me to take her home. She picked the right bus! She has brought lots of enjoyment to our home, even though our older dog was skeptical at first. Now they are best buds. Little Bit is very smart and begs to have her teeth brushed every morning when I get ready for work. What a funny girl!

I'd Describe My Dog As…

Little Bit knows all the right expressions to melt our hearts and get what she wants. She is really a well-behaved pup but likes to help with composting - as we call it when she gets into the recycle paper box!

Advice

  • If you get a Terrier or Terrier-mix dog, know they are real diggers - that's their breeding. I have never had a Terrier before but this one is wonderful with our granddaughters (ages 5 and 2).
