I'd Describe My Dog As…

Marshal was more than a dog. He was a loyal, friendly gentle buddy. Each day as I drove up in my car he ran to the car and stuck his head on my lap as soon as I opened the door. He was my vent for frustration. We shared long walks and talks as he patiently gave me his undivided attention. He lived to make his human family happy fetching balls, pulling sleds, shaking hands and running to greet each of us. He never held grudges if you were late for a meal, spoke harshly or ignored him. Oh, that the rest of us could take a chapter from the book of Marshal. PS. Marshal is but one of the Labrador Retrievers in my life that I truly count as dear friends.

Advice

  • If you want a patient, low maintenance, gentle dog, there is no better choice than Labs. They seldom get aggressive, yet are protective and loyal to the owners. They are great with little kids
