When, Where and How I Got My French Bulldog
Pet land unfortunately. Always buy from a breeder. She was 12 weeks old. I walked in and immediately fell in love with her. I wouldn't trade her for anything but she has a lot of issues from poor breeding.
I'd Describe My Dog As…
She is as smart as a whip, often picking up information on one try. She has a small bladder and pukes easily. Accidents are common. She learns fast but always challenges authority. It can be annoying but cute at the same time. We have learned our own discipline ritual. She does mind pretty well when it comes to important issues. It's like she knows when it really matters. She does have medical issues; interdigital cysts which flare up in summer due to allergies. some sort of OCD behaviour which occasionally require doggie downers. She also broke two teeth which I was told is common for them. She is a people dog and woos and loves everyone and most animals. She is a performer and knows just how to be the center of attention. She loves kids and is very gentle with them.
Advice
- Buy from a reputable dealer.
- Consider one with a more elongated snout, which is less desirable for the breed yet acceptable and better for their health due to breathing issues.
- I would definitely recommend one esp. to a family which is ready to give them lots of attention which them crave.
