When, Where and How I Got My Chinese Crested
I got my Chinese Crested as a rescue dog. She was being chased in a household with monkeys!!! Therefore, she is still very afraid of children or anyone under 4' tall! After 4 years she is beginning to come out of her shell somewhat.
I'd Describe My Dog As…
Very lovable and wants to be with me all the time. She sings to my clock in a high pitched voice!! She was very easy to train and has never had an accident in the house. To date, she has not had any medical problems. She does have some small "bumps" on her skin but she never itches them. They are around her neck area.
She loves her sisters (we also have 4 Silky Terriers). She is so entertaining. I have never ever seen a dog run as fast as Raven can. Unbelievable!
Advice
- Not good with small children if you get an older dog.
- Probably great with children if obtained as a puppy.
- Very loving dog, loves to be by you all the time.
- Affectionate.
