When, Where and How I Got My Border Collie:

We bought her from a farm. She was from a litter of 11 puppies. She is a split face with a blue eye on the white half and a brown eye on the black side. She is such a beautiful girl.

I'd Describe My Dog As…

She was very easy to housebreak. She really needed a lot of stimulation as a young dog, so we did agility for a couple of years. She enjoyed the activity, but does not really enjoy being around dogs she does not know. I have taken her to the dog park a couple of times, but she hated it. She is not a fan of strange dogs approaching her. We did a sheep herding test but she was a little bit afraid of the sheep. She really wanted to herd them, but was very apprehensive.

Advice

  • A border collie needs a lot of stimulation. A good game of Frisbee, a long walk.
  • My dog loves to run and run and then run some more.
  • She doesn't mind the heat, she doesn't mind the rain, and she doesn't mind the snow.
  • She is a house dog, but loves to be outdoors.
