I'd Describe My Dog As…
A great companion... wants to be with you all the time. If he hurts himself he never complains. He is a very loving dog, the best dog I have ever had. He was easy to train and easy to housebreak. His only medical problem is a little joint pain - of course, that is due to his age. He loves his toys and he can play Frisbee like he is two years old. He finds Easter eggs when we have the Great Easter Egg Hunt for the grandchildren. He does not have a temper and he loves affection and he loves praise for doing good things. I just love him so much, he is my best friend. I would highly recommend this breed of dog for a family if they have plenty of room for him to run and he does require a lot of exercise and a lot of play time.
Advice
- He could knock down small children because they get so excited when you are playing with them... but they do love small children.
- They are good dogs and do not have a temper. They also are not aggressive toward other dogs but will hold their own if they sense danger and are very protective to their owners.
- I will add if you want a lazy dog that just lies around all the time and you do not want or have a desire to do physical activity with this dog then you should look for a more laid back breed.
