When, Where and How I Got My Border Collie:
I found Rascal in June of 2008, he was approximately 3 months old, from our vet's estimation. I was out for a jog and someone had left him in the road. After five days of attempting to find his owner he became a part of our family!

Now after 1 1/2 years Rascal lives with us and his big brother Peppers, a 100 lbs Black Lab/Blood Hound mix, who is also a rescue dog. Actually Rascal is a Border Collie/German Shepard mix, he has the GS coloring with the BC coat and eyes. He weighs in at 60 lbs. He loves to wrestle with Peppers, to herd Bailey our Shitzu rescue, our cats and especially our three horses. The horses seem to love to run with Rascal right along side. He and I are basically inseparable , especially outdoors and when I'm in the barn. His favorite pass times are riding in my truck or when we go for a long walk and he can explore new and different places.
Advice
- Keep your dog active both mentally and physically. Our BC is great with grown ups as well as children.
