Courtney
Courtney was a purebred English Cocker Spaniel that was abandon at a kill shelter after having her leg broken. I went to the shelter and she was the first dog I saw. She looked so pitiful in the small kennel with a cast on her front leg. When I went up to her she immediately lit up and began wagging that cute stub of a tail. I instantly fell in love with her sweet face and had to take her home.
I was told that her leg was broken after she had been hit by a car and her owners didn't want to pay to get it fixed so they took her to the shelter and left her. I don't know how anyone could have abandoned that sweet little dog, she lived a long happy life with me.
