American Bulldog - Chance
From the Editor:
Hello Dog Lovers! Welcome to another edition of the Dogs Newsletter. The holidays are in full swing, with Christmas only three days away, and I hope everyone is in the holiday spirit. We certainly are here.

I just want to remind you that chocolate can be deadly for your pets, and too much Christmas cheer can be stressful. If you see your dog is starting to get anxious with all those visitors invading your home, take the time to show her to a safe and quiet place where she can relax.

In the Spotlight
Adding Dog Number Two to Your Household
A lot of dog people think that getting their dog a puppy or another adult dog for companionship is a terrific idea, and it IS! But then it seems like fights break out, or the two dogs together seem to feed off each other's misbehavior. Or even worse, the initial meeting goes awry and you end up with one very angry and territorial established pet.

What Does a Seizure Look Like?
Seizures are one of the most scariest things to watch happen to our beloved pets. One moment your dog is sitting next to you, content and relaxed, the next moment he is lying his side, paws scrambling at the air, drooling and shaking.

Christmas Safety Tips For Pet Owners
"Be cautious of piling Christmas prezzies under the tree and allowing unlimited access (Heidi already pulled one out of my brother's suitcase this morning. Fortunately I could hear her pawing at the box, and no damage was done). (Hmmm, I wonder what is in it?!?!)" ~ 'Nette
