| The Doggy Bar | |
| An Attractive Alternative to a Traditional Stake Tie-Out |
Tying a dog out in a yard is not a healthy choice, but sometimes life intervenes, and the only choice we are left with is to secure our pets to something safe. What It Is
The Doggy-Bar is a unique dog-shaped plate with a strong steel bar in the center. Properly secured it can hold two fair-sized dogs, without bending or breaking. The plate is securely screwed into place with long bolts. If you can screw a curtain rod into the wall, then you can install the Doggy-Bar on any surface (cement and brick mooring requires masonry bits and high-powered drill).
Who Should Use It?
Why I Like ItHomeowners who are either lacking a proper fence, or just want to be able to bring their dogs into a different part of the yard that is unfenced (for us, it's the front yard).
People who travel. Attach it to your RV, your primary vehicle or your camper. Businesses who want to encourage customers to stop in while walking their dogs.
It looks much better than a hook on the front of my house, and on my motorhome. Since we do camp alot, and often in national parks and areas that require a dog to be under firm control (leashed at all times), I don't need to worry that the rod I had formerly tied my dogs up to will bend out of shape. It looks good, it won't be pulled off, and it won't do any permanent damage to the sides of the motorhome. It's not large and cumbersome and can be easily removed from one spot, to another.
You can order the Doggy Bar from www.Doggy-bar.com. It's not as expensive as it looks.
Please Note : No dog should be tied out and left alone unsupervised. Saying that I like a product for securing a dog outside does in no way mean that people should be tying or chaining up their pets as a method of permanent containment. I am merely stating that I acknowledge the times that a dog must be secured, and a fence is not always available.
