I adopted Lacey, the most gentle, loving and sweetest baby dog in the world 81/2 years ago. She was a Shih Tzu. We went camping this last week and she died suddenly from heart failure. She died in my arms. She truly was my heart and soul mate. She filled my life with so much joy, adventure (she learned to purr like our cat-competition was too much for my baby)..She would talk when she had alot to say..she loved children, and me..she loved me and I loved her. I don't know if I will ever be able to stop crying..I miss her so..my home is empty without her in every room..following me around..staring at me..trying to tell me what she wanted..and I loved petting her all the time.. and talking to her..she is and will always be my Best Baby Dog and best friend..my soul mate..I know I must get another little one to love..I will never be able to love like I loved her..I never knew a little creature could make such a profound difference in my life..she traveled with me, flew on planes, went RVing..to work, to the store.. She was my other self, a part of me..She almost died from GME a few years ago and pulled through that...my daughter said that she stayed alive for me all this time. Ifelt like I failed her because I was with her when she just got sick and I rushed her to the vet and she died within an hour. The vet said that sometimes they hide how sick they are..that is what you did Lacey...I know you worried alot but you didn't want me to worry about you..I love you my best baby dog..I'll see you again. ~ Love from your Mama |
