Nanny is a retired racing greyhound. She joined our other dogs in 1994 just a year after we had adopted a big, loving beautiful male greyhound..Buddy. Buddy crossed his rainbow bridge two and a half years ago and I still miss him every day since he left me. Tomorrow we must say goodbye to Nanny as well. She has been diagnosed with severe liver failure and is dreadully thin and ill. She has been a loving companion and treasured friend and we know how hard it will be to say our last goodbye. I know she will be waiting for me beside her beloved friend Buddy when I cross my rainbow bridge some day and tomorrow I will bid her Godspeed!
