I got Sadie in March this year. She was about 51/2 months old. I saved her from the terrible life she had. She lived in Maryland in a puppy mill and was kept in a pen with 5 other breeds of puppies. The pen had one dog house and the ground was all mud. The snow storm in Maryland had just ended, but it was very cold.
She was scared when sh first came to my house. I took her to the vet and got her shots, she got spaded, and was treated for mange. She was happy with her new home, she slept in a king size water bed and followed me everywhere. I loved her and she loved me. On November 15 I knew she didn't feel good. She had diarrea, vomiting, and cried when I picked her up, and couldn't breath right. The vet said she had bruised ribs, gave her a shot of histimine and I went home. That night she was very restless. I woke in the morning and felt her and she was cold and stiff. I went histerical, and had to get my son-in-law to take over. She is burried in my flower garden under the kitchen window. I still cry every day, and my heart aches. Good bye Sadie, I love you forever. ~ Your mommy, Karen |
