| "Ten years I saw a tiny black dog wandering toward a major boulevard and quickly rescued her. Because she was wearing a tag I was able to return her to her owners, but a few days later they knocked on my door asking if I'd like to have her. Now that was an offer I couldn't refuse. I renamed her Kismet, because it was fate and destiny that she came into my life. Now at 15 she is feeling her age, but still has plenty of spunk and determination. Even though I know she doesn't have many more years, I'm thankful for the love and joy we have given each other every day of our lives." |
