Question: What Strange Habits does Your Dog Have?
Answer: "One of my Greyhounds, Twist, licks bowls. We leave the dog food bowls down after the dogs eat and she pick them up, carry them over to her preferred licking area, and lay down lick away. When feeding time rolls around again there is a little grouping of bowls on the floor. She prefers metal bowls, although she will lick plastic ones, and she does lick other things, like the couch. I tried picking up the bowls and putting them away but she licked her own nose so much that she made a sore on her upper lip and I had to give her her bowls back. She also makes eeh eeh noises when she lays down. She will circle like dogs do before they lay down, and make eeh, eeh, eeh, noises the whole time. There's nothing wrong with her, she just makes these noises. Sometimes she gets carried away and gets really loud, EEH, EEH, EEH! Her racing name was She's Twisted so I figure her weird habits are just par for the course."
