Question: What Strange Habits does Your Dog Have?
Answer: "Our 2 year old English Mastiff has been doing this from the time we got him at 8 weeks old. He chose my pillow at first to suckle. He will take the pillow, lay down, find a spot of pillow he wants to suckle, then with his paws kind of kneeds it at first until he is comfortable. He will do this for hours at times. At first we thought he was still used to being fed by mama. But at this age it seems to just be a stress relief, kind of like a child who sucks their thumb. Spartacus (mastiff) now has his own pillow, or "whoobie" as we like to call it. He will get depressed without it for a period of time."

"When my 5 yr old alpha husky girl wants something from us humans she sends her faithful loyal subject (my 2 yr old husky/yellow lab boy) to tell the humans about it. She lays down behind him while he comes up to the human and pokes them with his paw til they get message. Then he looks back at her for further instructions and she must be sending them telepathically cuz he will continue til the dumb human finally understands what it is they want (out, eat or walk usually)."
