Question: 38. What Strange Habits do Your Dogs Have? Shelly
Answer: "Shelly is a service dog which alerts me to noises. She also picks up things for me like eating utensils, mail, pencils, etc.
I went on a weekend vacation and her caregiver threw his wallet for her to fetch. Everything fell out of it. She got the wallet and every paper that was in it for him.
One day I was choking when I swallowed water the wrong way. She jumped on the bed, put her paws on my chest and proceeded to put her nose into my mouth, both nose holes and eyes, then she was satisfied I was ok and jumped off the bed. She naps and goes in the kennel when she barks too much at neighbors dogs. She insists on sleeping with me at night. Naps during the day are optional where she sleeps on bed or in kennel. She is a Gorki, 23 lbs, and has a mind of her own. She also rolls on her back and plays with her toys like a seal, then brings them to me to throw so she can get them and do it all over again. She is wonderful."

"My half shepherd Angel will be laying in the rocker/recliner and my doberman Raven will ease up into the chair and sit on Angel until she gets down, and she sighs then lays down. My cat Pixie will sit on the side of the bathtub when I take a bath or get on the side of the tub between the curtain and liner when I take a shower. Very unusual behavior for a cat!"
