Answer: "A friends GSD, when let out in the back yard runs straight to the back fence and bites it. Every time, she goes to the same spot - it's not chewing, just bites it. Then she runs off and plays.
Tipper always greets me at the door with a toy in her mouth. If she forgets, she runs off to grab a toy and then comes back. She'll sometimes be so excited she can't quite grab the toy, so she keeps trying for it, running a few steps towards me, back to the toy - if she can't seem to get it she starts making grumbly, excited noises.
She also "talks" a lot. In the mornings she comes in and stares at me until I wake up - if I don't wake up fast enough, she makes little noises, which get louder and louder until she'll bark once. Then she licks me. If I continue to ignore her the whole process starts again.
And she loves to scoot! There's no reason for her scooting (her rear end is checked regularly for the usual suspects in scooting) but she'll drag her butt down the sidewalk (ouch!) over grass, carpets... I recently made a new duvet cover for my bed, and when I put it on, Tipper jumped up to check it out. I was in the middle of saying "Now, don't you dare scoot on my bed" when she dropped her ass down and scooted right across! Gross!!"
