Question: What Strange Habits does Your Dog Have?
Answer: "We recently found a beautiful, if active, Australian Blue Heeler. We posted notices, but since no one claimed her, we have kept her. We call her Diz, which is kinda short for Ditz!
This dog, about 10 months old when we found her, was so still and quiet the first week she was here, we were afraid to even turn the radio up, for fear she would not be able to stand the noise.
Well, she used the floor a couple of times, until she figured out that she could go outside anytime, almost, by just standing and looking at the door. One of us would surely come open it.!And she does just fine with that, and with leaving the back door just barely open, and it has a self-closing spring on it, and it will leave the door just open enough that she can nudge it with either her head or shoulders to come back in. She doesn't like to come in, at ALL. Because now that she knows that we love her, and are going to be good to her, and not beat her, and give her good food, and good loving, she has decided that she has to take just one of our socks out back with her!!! Silly dog!
She is sweet though, and it does kinda make you feel wanted, huh? Bless the pets, Lord, and THANK YOU for it!"

"My 1 1/2 year old German Shepherd, Husky mix will do the strangest thing while she's eating. She'll take out one piece of kibble, carry it over next to her bed and drop it. She then nips it for a second, steps back, rubs the top of her snout on the carpet, then nips at the kibble again repeating it over and over and over. It's so funny to watch!"
