"I have a MaltiPoo puppy (half Maltese, half Poodle), Geezer, a very lively, happy guy. He does all the usual silly puppy stuff, but there's one thing I've caught him at that I've never seen before.
I get him "Greenies" now & then, those chlorophyll-infused chew treats. He will accept them with great enthusiam, and eat about half. Then he takes the remaining piece and starts to look for a good hiding place. It has to be a corner or some kind of niche. He puts it the corner, tucks it in with his nose, then "shovels" air over it! I swear - he makes these back & forth motions with his nose as if he were pushing dirt over it! One time I tossed a piece of scrap fabric near where he was working, then left (he prefers to think that his hiding place is secret) and when I looked later, the fabric had been neatly tucked over the Greenie.
You'd have to see it to believe it - I call it as "Greenie worship"."
