Question: How long does it take to housetrain a puppy?

Answer: It completely depends on the dog. Some puppies are housetrained in less than four weeks, some as long as 6 months or longer. A young puppy needs to eliminate as often as every 2 hours.

The easiest way to housetrain a puppy is crate-training. It is NOT cruel to crate-train.
