InDOGuration Special at Loews Hotels
If you are fortunate enough to be in the position to travel right now, you are probably still looking for a deal. This economy is no joke, and every little bit counts. While the Loews Hotels are by no means budget accommodations, they are having a special promotion right now for canine guests. In honor of the recent presidential inauguration and the future "first dog," Loews Hotels wants to let every dog experience the presidential treatment. Their Presidential Pooch Package is in effect for the first 100 days of the Obama presidency (until April 29, 2009). The special offers rates starting at $119 per night and includes the following:
- A one-night stay at one of Loews Hotels 17 properties for guests and their pets
- A special Stars and Stripes room service meal for dogs
- An American flag bandanna for dogs to wear home
With Valentine's Day right around the corner, a romantic getaway might be just the thing - and it can be even nicer if your dog can come along! Plus, if you have a Loews Hotel or other pet-friendly hotel in your area, then you can save on travel costs without missing out on luxury. Traveling with your dog can be a great bonding experience, too - if you plan properly. Please share your stories of past or future hotel stays with your dog!

This is great! I’m always looking for dog-friendly accomodations. I take my Rottweiler with me everywhere I go. So many hotels claim to be dog-friendly, but do not welcome large dogs. I checked out the Loew’s website and apparently they place no restrictions on the size of canine guests.
I stayed at the Loew’s Coronado Resort a couple of years ago…..VERY NICE…..I think I might take a drive down there with my best friend (my dog-Tanner Pooh!)
