No one really wants to think about the sadness of losing a pet, but we do what we can to
keep our dogs healthy. Fortunately, our dogs don't actually worry about losing us - but it can happen at any time. It may be something you'd rather not think about, but the fact is that you must plan for the worst. Everyone should have a last will and testament to help our loved ones after we are gone. As a dog owner, it is part of your responsibility to provide for your dog - even after your death if possible.
I recently made my estate plans with www.ItsMyLife.com. It was easy and I was able to really outline how I want my pets taken care of if I pass away. If you have not already done so, consider making your estate plans to include your pets. Then, you can feel the comfort of knowing you are giving them the best hope for the future. I lost my husband in a car accident 2 years ago. Although he had a will that provided for me, it had never occurred to us to make arrangements for our beloved dog. His death taught me an important lesson about planning for the worst case scenario. When I got Malitpoo puppies earlier this year, I updated my will to make arrangements for them in the case of my death. Although I used to think it macabre to plan for an untimely death, I now know that the best way I can show my darling puppies that I love them is by providing the best home for them if something were to happen to me.
