Bring your Pets inside the house. In a room with the TV turned up kind of loud so they can’t hear anything that is going on outside. Make sure they can’t get out doors. Make sure they have went potty before you bring them in so that they won’t have to go out when everything is happening. It’s a good idea for a trip to your Vet, ask about something safe to be given as a calming agent for your pet.
I agree — always best to bring pets indoors. You never know what they can do when terrified; some pets have broken through windows, etc.
Some animals benefit from being in a crate when frightened. It is a safe “den” that they can retreat to.

I have a problem…our dog bebe is a hugh dog so we have him in a pen, plenty of room,roof to cover from rain, snow and heat..but I can’t seam to keep the darned fly off him, they drive him crazy..now he has scratched his ear with god only knows and he has a sore ( double the fly now….what can I use to heal the sore on ears and what can I do to get rid of the flies.
